The best sake restaurant in the twin cities. They have a great service and the food is outstanding. Fantasy sumo is a activity that they have as well as karaoke!

Very cool place with great food and cocktail selection. I liked the bibimbap and the Japanese fusion of old fashioned. The ramens are all great too!

Great Atmosphere, food was delicious pork belly was super tender and ramen broth had great flavor, mild, creamy, flavorful. Noodles had a nice firm texture! Had a great time here with girlfriends!!

This is one of the first Ramen restaurants I have ever visited and any future sites need to really step up their game if they are expecting to meet or beat the great experience I had. A very nice, cozy spot with bar and table seating. A great choice of appetizers and good variety of different types of Ramen bowls. The picture do not do the bowls justice as each bowel is large and deep filled with delicious goodness. My wife tends to finish many meals she orders but this was one that was difficult; and she was hungry and didn't get any appetizers. This time we did not try any of their sake but there was a good selection of beer and cocktails. Definitely would recommend if going out for a date or just want to grab a quick bite before hitting the nightlife.

Moto-I is a hip place for a happy hour and fun. The Benny Bun is one of the best brunch foods in Minneapolis. Just go there - the Sheri Bloody Mary and a set of Benny Buns. You’ll be happy you did.

Great sake. That's all I went for, and I wasn't disappointed.What was sad, prices. 2 crafts is a whole bottle of great sake in Japan. But... For having great American sake at a small brewery in the Midwest, it was amazing!

One of my favorite happy hours in the Twin Cities with delicious house-made Sake and bites. The Happy Hour Steak is one of Minneapolis best secrets the bearnaise is killer.

The ramen was pretty good, nothing mind blowing but the the real star were the Benny Buns. Like a bacon egg and cheese with a taste of eggs Benedict because of the bearnaise. They come in sets of two but I really wish I didnt have to share one with my wife. I would have gladly ate the both. They also play fantasy sumo which I have no idea how to play but it sounds cool.

The bartenders were friendly and helpful in explaining their sake and suggesting drinks. The pork belly appetizer was deliciously fattening and oily. Yum. 😬.

I've tried almost everything on the menu.. the drunken noodles with fried tofu is by far my personal favourite. Everytime I visit the staff are all great, the sake goes down well, and the atmosphere is awesome. My only issue is with the don't and coloring on the menu. It's difficult to read the menu in the dim lighting, and I felt bad for busting out my phone for extra reading light. Great place for date night!

Fell in love with this place. The waitress gave me some key nuggets on drinks, appetizers, and entree. The view was amazing! You get to choose from 3 levels of seating. Don’t worry they have an elevator. In the end the pictures speak for themselves!

All in all an awesome experience! Food, service, ambience was all great.. we are definitely going back to this place to try out all the items on their menu (including the Sake menu)!! The only bit of disappointment was that they didn't seem to have many 'standard' seating options. It may be due to the time of the year.. that limited us to high top tables. But that's not a deal killer for us.

Ok, the place is a little tricky to spot at first, with its super low profile.Coming to food it was good, the appetizers felt a little over priced especially the soft buns.The ramen was hands-down awesome. Surely competes with other popular ramen places in town.Ambience - goodService - good

I love this place because the food is great, the atmosphere is fun, and the owners know how to make excellent sake!! Fun note, the sake by-product gets turned into soap (which is very cool!)So for the food, all the ramens I have had tried have wonderful flavor, and each one is unique. But lately my ultimate favorite is the bibimbap bowl, pictured below!Overall it’s one of my favorite place to bring friends and family. Everyone always loves it.

I absolutely love their ramen here! However, I wish there were a couple more vegetarian options on their menu. The rooftop in summer is awesome - good service and great views of downtown and sunsets. I've tried a couple sakes they have and didn't love them, but perhaps ink just not a sake person. They have a great happy hour menu.

One of the best places to eat in the cities! Food is always great, staff is friendly, comes by on a regular basis to see how you are, and the atmosphere of people is always great. Gets a little busy during supper time but after and before is pretty relaxing and a great time to sit and talk with people or work on something while you eat. Would highly suggest coming to check out this place. By far on of my personal favorites to come for a meal.

I enjoyed eating at Moto-i this last Friday night. My friends and I had a 7pm reservation but were not seated until around 7:20. Since the restaurant is in Uptown, I recommend showing up early to find parking. We ate upstairs and had delicious ramen bowls & sticky buns! I would for sure go back to this restaurant— the atmosphere was great, laid back and totally different than anywhere I have been before.

The bibimbap is hands-down the best!! The rangoons are delicious too! YUM. Awesome rooftop patio in the summer.

My mother and I came here and we really enjoyed it. We got drinks, one chicken & one tofu steam bun, the red curry ramen and the mushroom ramen. All were delicious! Drinks are worth the price. Low light, relaxing atmosphere. No complaints. Highly recommend.

I’m going to say more anyway.... ,We’re a huge fan of great music, and it’s an automatic 10/10 with Mac Miller coming over the speakers while eating the delicious classic ramen, just amazing. Most underrated brunch in Minneapolis! Offering a unique Asian twist on brunch favorites Moto-I is serving things up like Benny buns and sake Bloody Mary’s. I recommend trying both of these things, but the menu is expansive and worth the look!

I meet with friends this great restaurant a lot! This is my favorite place to eat. I go there many times. The cooking is fantastic, the workers are welcoming and the rates are fair. I enjoy eating in this spot for a decent dinner.

The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was welcoming. The hospitality was great and our waitress was knowledgeable about the food too. The food was plated beautifully and as someone who lived in Japan the ramen and gyoza was very nostalgic for me. The sake was also so delicious. I was so happy to have hot sake on a cold day.

Minneapolis' most underrated weekend brunch. While we've been here for dinner multiple occasions, this place truly shines with its weekend brunch. Get the chicken, eggs + rice bowl. Also the JFC. And all the sake mimosas. Only wish they opened a little earlier for brunch but I know they are catering to a younger crowd that sleeps in 😜
